Things you can do now

Federal funding is set to run out on September 30th unless Congress passes a bipartisan funding bill. This is an important moment because Democrats have real leverage. Republicans need Democratic votes to get past the 60-vote filibuster and avoid a government shutdown.

This leverage is crucial to stopping attacks on federal agencies and programs that Americans rely on for their health, safety, and economic security. It also presents an opportunity to rein in this administration's corruption and chaos. During the last funding fight, ten Democratic senators handed Trump a blank check to slash programs people rely on and supercharge the MAGA mass deportation machine.

Republicans weaken federal programs. So, we're taking action, and you can too.
